Arsenal edge closer to mega £50 million deal

With the Gunners contract with PUMA set to expire at the end of next season, Arsenal are reportedly edging closer to a deal with Adidas.

The north-London club signed a £30 million per year contract with PUMA at the start of the 2013/14 season but rival club such as Chelsea and Manchester United now earn better than the Gunners as both club earn close to £60 million and £75 million from Nike and Adidas respectively.

It is believed that current kit sponsor PUMA are ready to part ways with the Gunners at the end of next term as they line up a deal worth in excess of £45 million per year with runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City next season.

An inside source from the Emirates @DarrenArsenal1 on social media platform Twitter, said:

While the Gunners have struggled to compete financially with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool in the transfer market in recent years, a new deal with Adidas in the 2019/20 season
will not only bridge the growing gap between the north-London club and their rivals but it will also generate more revenues.
