Sportstown FC is offering its initial programming to U7 girls and boys (born in 2002). The program will kick off Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Sportstown BC Indoor Soccer Facility in Richmond. This program is open to a select number of players in the lower mainland who are interested in advancing their skills through the guidance of full-time professional coaches. TSS Player Development Academy www.tssacademy.com has been hired to provide coaching services and technical support for this exciting new initiative.    All training and game events will take place in Sportstown BC’s world class indoor facility. With indoor turf fields that support the Canadian Soccer Association recommended field sizes and standard equipment for Under 7 soccer, Sportstown Football Club is looking forward to hosting keen and athletic players from the community. No more gymnasium floors for training, no more cancelations due to poor weather.   Sportstown FC is proud to announce the involvement of TSS Player Development Academy as the club's primary service provider. TSS has been providing high-level coaching in the community since 1997 and boasts a very experienced staff. Carl Valentine is the Technical Director for Sportstown FC and will be overseeing the program. Carl is one of the most well-known soccer icons in the Lower Mainland. As a former National Team player and former Whitecap, Carl will bring his extensive coaching background to help these young players develop their skills and, most importantly, enjoy the game.
